Prague`s Transportation
The centre of Prague with most of the sights is reasonably small and it is quite easy to walk around. In some cases, however, in order to get across the city quickly or to rich some attractions out-of-the-way you could probably need to use the Prague`s cheap and well-organized public transport.
OUR TIP:
For those who do not like walking a lot it is good to take the tram (number 22) to The Prague Castle because The Castle is placed on the top of the hill. The stop of the tram (number 22) is just behind the corner about one minute walking distance from the Hotel 16 Prague. 
Public Transport info
Prague`s public transport consists of the metro and a network of trams and buses. The Prague`s transport ticketing system is quite simple. If you have a ticket you have to validate it by placing it in one of the electronic machines that are placed at the metro entrance or in the trams and busses. Once the ticket is validated you can change metro, buses or trams lines as many times as you like.
Basic ticket costs 26 Czk (1Eur), valid 75 minutes since it is validated
1 day ticket costs 100 Czk (4 Eur), valid 24 hours since it is validated
3 day ticket costs 330 Czk (12,5 Eur), valid 72 hours since it is validated
There is plenty of public trafic stops near to the hotel. If you are travelling by public trafic please do not hesitate to contact us and we will provide you with directions to the hotel.
For the transport from the airport to the hotel you can also take taxi, CEDAS (minibus, take up to 8) or we can arrange for you hotel pick up.
Hotel Airport Pickup Service
In case of your interest we will be happy to organize for you the hotel pickup. Driver waits for you in the arrival hall with the poster and your name on it. Fixed price for 1 - 4 persons is 590 Czk (22,5 Eur). If you would like to order the airport pickup, please let us know flight details as the pickup date, time of arrival and flight number together with your room order.
Taxi
You can catch it outside the departure hall's area. Average cost for 1 - 4 persons is 750 Czk (29 Eur)
CEDAS
For transport they use Volkswagen Transporter minibuses for 8 persons and fare for 1 - 4 persons is 480 Czk (18,5 Eur). You go with the other people so it will take longer because it goes also around the other hotels.
